Almscliffe Crag is a small rocky outcrop near North Rigton in Yorkshire.

It is famous amongst the local climbers as having some decent climbs – Parsons’ Chimney (HS 4b), Black Wall Eliminate (E2 5c), and Wall of Horrors (E3 5c).

However for me it has magnificent views looking over the Wharfe and the Washburn valleys, and it the perfect place to catch the sun as it is setting. These are some pictures I took recently, I thought you may like to see them.

Enjoy!
