We haven’t had a lot of winter snow for the past couple of years, and what we have had hasn’t lasted for more than a few days.
But when it comes it is most welcome, and just to walk for miles and miles on the moors and take photos is a real joy.
On this day, only the tops of the moors were white, and I wanted to show the contrast between the snow and the greens in the valley.
So I chose to walk part of Rombalds Way – an ancient track which I picked up just outside Ilkley, and then along the moor ridge to Addingham, then down and a bus home.
Just an excellent way to spend a winters morning 🙂
