This is the Rivock plantation on Addingham moor – a dark and spooky place – especially so on an early misty morning.

You can follow the wall for a couple of miles, past the still silent woods, and eventually down to Riddlesden and Keighley and civilisation.

Several hooded figures were seen in these woods by some Council workers a few years ago – apparantly they glided silently past a foot or so above the ground. It is a place I don’t often go into.
