I am in the Scottish Highlands visiting my good friend Paul Bennett. Paul has been taking me around and showing me some of the huge prehistoric sites of this beautiful country.
These three stones are about 15 feet high, and they are actually situated on a golf course!
No one can figure out what they are doing there – is it part of a prehistoric stone circle, a great stone avenue – or what? Tradition says there was a great treasure buried here – there were 4 stones reported in 1792, but one was destroyed. Maybe treasure seekers damaged the stone in their search for treasure.
Whatever it’s original purpose – it is a humbling and amazing place – and well worth a visit ifyou are in the area.
